🎓✈️ Celebrate Graduation with Travel-Themed Gifts! 🎒🌍
Graduation time is rolling around again, and I thought I would help you out by offering travel-inspired ideas to make your graduation gift-giving a bit easier this year.
Travel-inspired gift idea for parents…
In the blink of an eye our kids go from Kindergarten to High School graduate. Realistically, we only have about 18 summers to spend with our kids before they graduate and move on to whatever their next stage in life will be as adults. Have you thought about offering a trip to your graduate?
Ask your graduate where he or she would like to go. You might be amazed at the answers and don't be surprised if the graduate wishes to incorporate a bit of voluntourism on the trip—giving back to the communities in which you are vacationing by reading to kids at a local school, donating school supplies, helping with landscaping projects, and so forth. The current generation of young people is all about giving back to the world. Help them make it happen! Your memories will be priceless.
Traveling is fun! What kid wouldn't wish to go someplace cool after graduation?
Travel-inspired gift ideas for friends and family…
Here are a few great travel-themed graduation gift ideas for you:
- Luggage…one of the best graduation gifts I ever received was a carry-on suitcase. The bag is about 25 years old now and worn out from all the trips it has been on, but luggage makes a fantastic graduation gift.
- Passport…they'll need a passport to travel the world!
- Gift Certificates/Gift Cards…purchase gift certificates from your local travel consultant (me) for use toward future travel.
- Digital Camera, GoPro Camera, SmartPhone…they'll need a way to share their experiences!
- Thumb Drive/Memory Cards…back-up storage for school-related documents and trip pictures and videos.
- External Battery/Phone Chargers…to recharge electronic devices.
Well, I hope I've inspired you to consider Travel as a graduation present this year. When you're ready to plan that graduation or family trip, contact me!
Congrats to your graduates.
